The Void Receptacle
A submission for Brackeys Game Jam 2020, the second.
Use your time traveling capabilities to traverse a weird and alien place!
Creator's note:
I spend very little time on this project, due to real life happenings. As a result, the game is very bare-bones and very buggy. I barely scraped together this game within less than 24 hours of development, and I made nearly everything myself (from scratch!). The art is really rushed and unpolished. The gameplay is very floaty and glitchy. The music from Eric Matyas is nice though. (Thank you music artist!)
Note to self: Do not enter a game jam with literally a blank project with no assets at all.
This prototype's concept actually has quite a lot of potential (probably the most potential among all my game prototypes)...might get back to it in the future.

The best aspect of this submission in my opinion is its ability to communicate a very specific mood and drag you inside a story in like 10 seconds!
I like the game a lot. It has much potential.
The games is good. Its buggy and has a lot of problems but has a lot of good in it and can be expanded into a larger better game
First, the artstyle. The rough paper sketch art makes this game charming. Then the time travel thing is pretty good and the the music is awesome
Things that could be improved are the fonts in the game, some aspects of the time travel mechanic and some more things but as it was made in 7 days with real life stuff, so I can't blame you
Also when the left arrow, is pressed you could set the moveinput value to -1 or more, so that when the left key pressed you face left
But anyways I'll rate this game a 3.9 out of 5
